During our annual 8-day run around Mount Kilimanjaro (280 km), we discovered Lerangwa village — a rural community facing a severe education crisis. Only 1 primary school with 928 pupils, 11 classrooms (only 8 usable), and only 6 teachers. We're building a new primary school with 8 modern classrooms, administrative office, safe toilets, playground, and furnishings.
