Kilimanjaro Aid Project was founded in 2018 with a simple yet powerful vision: to empower rural communities in Tanzania and create lasting change. What started as a grassroots initiative has grown into a comprehensive organization working directly with communities in the Kilimanjaro region.
We began by identifying the most pressing needs in rural villages - lack of electricity, limited access to education, and support for vulnerable community members. Our first major initiative was distributing solar panels to bring light to families living without electricity.
